Inquiry

A green dragon with blue wings and a flame tail holds a blue bubble.IB learners are:

  • encouraged to think critically and solve complex problems

  • drive their own learning

  • a core part in educational programmes that can lead them to some of the highest-ranking universities around the world

  • more culturally aware, through the development of a second language

  • able to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world.

Through the inquiry process and strategies, students can explore, question, and collaborate to further their knowledge and understanding of new or familiar concepts. Students are invited to share their inquires through classroom wonders walls. These wonder walls give students a voice and a space to inquire and answer not only their questions, but also their peers throughout the learning process.

  • A map shows what students know and what they wonder.
  • Student show what they wonder about individuals.
  • Students sharing the planet wonders.
  • Students answer the question, what connection do you make?
